The Siege of Fictitia

To celebrate the fact that I finished my new siege towers, I placed my Realm of Battle board outside, took some old Morheim terrain and a city wall out of their storage containers and made a little display I dubbed 'the Siege of Fictitia'. The ragtag defenders serve as a reminder that I really should build a full Order army somewhere this year. Let's not waste to much words and just go for a bunch of pictures now.

Here is a birds eye view of the final assault on Fictitia by the Warband of Malagor the Malicious, sorcerer lord of Tzeentch.
Warriors of Chaos and Kairic Acolytes storm the walls.

A small allied group of Sword Masters and an archmage defend against the foul magic of the Acolytes.

The Warriors of Chaos face a ragtag band of mercenaries, assisted by Fyreslayer freshly escaped from the Silver Tower.

Killing the sword masters might be a bit too much of a challenge for the Kairic Acolytes.
The Gaunt Summoner is determined to reclaim his escaped prisoners.

Luckily the Chaos Warriors did not bring a battering ram.

A view of the battle from over the rooftops.

Both the Gaunt Summoner and a Magister ride the same tower, neither trusting the other to be out of their sight.

The line of defenders is thinly stretched.
Having gotten themselves organised, the Warriors of Chaos prepare for the final push.

In the background the War Shrine adds prayers to shield to vanguard.

How will the Siege of Fictitia end? It will be a mystery lost to the ages.

  1. Wow!! The final result is awesome, and very playable. Your siege towers have nothing to envy from those of GW. I´ll keep your tutorials for a near future.
